About Jackie WebbLight, colour, shape, imagination, and escape. Jackie Webb paints pictures inspired by many sources, mainly natural images; flowers, trees, living creatures, landscapes, seascapes, skyscapes, and others. Striking, but not always representational, her pictures are in water colour and ink with merged colours subtly combined with the sharp edges, which define her own special style. These images have been developed over many years experience in creating her own way of translating her very individual perception of everyday subjects into stylistic pictures which reflect the way she sees the world she lives in. Jackie has sold original paintings through private sales and through local galleries, and now has paintings hanging in Devon, Cornwall, Scotland, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Toronto, and Italy. The prints here are exclusive to the ZebraArtGallery and will not be found displayed elsewhere, although original paintings may be seen in local art galleries. The prints are true likenesses of the paintings, and the watercolours are presented on heavyweight watercolour paper, exactly like the originals. |
